This burner head is used on gas ranges to provide the cooking heat. The burner head is attached to the burner tube assembly that supplies the gas. When the burner is ignited, the holes in the burner head produce the flame that is used for cooking. Over time, food spills and normal corrosion may cause the holes in the burner head to become clogged or damaged. If this occurs, food will not cook evenly, or the burner may not ignite. The burner head should be removed and replaced. Turn the gas and power off to the stove. Remove the burner grate and burner cap and set them aside. Lift the burner head off the stove and dispose of it. Place the new burner head over the burner base and make sure the pin goes inside it. Seat the burner head level over the hole and make sure it is level. Place the burner cap and grate back on the stove. Reconnect the gas and power.This burner head is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use on gas ranges by Kenmore, Frigidaire, Crosley, and Electrolux. Ordered these replacements. Found it odd that one side was more than the orher, but this was the same on every site I searched. This site was the best price after shipping. They both came in three days, as scheduled, but in individual packages and two different brands? They did both fit, and were easy to install. Only issue that I had was that the screw holes that hold the hinges to the oven were not threaded to receive the small machine screws. Luckily I had a 10-32 tap to solve this problem.... Read more
Touch-up paint in bisque color for appliance exterior surfaces. Covers chips, scratches, and worn spots on refrigerator doors, range panels, and more.
Purchased the small bottle of the bisque touch up paint and carefully applied it to the chipped area. The size of the chip was about 1/2" X 1 1/4" so it was very noticeable to say the least. The touch up paint has a viscosity that makes it smooth and leaves no brush marks. The color is a dead ringer for the original color of my 14 year old GE stove. I highly recommend this product. Meters gas flow to your range's top burner for proper flame size and heat output. Replace if worn, incorrect size, or during fuel type conversion.
Unplugged stove shut off gas supply. Removed top off stove and removed igniter/gas orifice housing buy unscrewing gas line. Installed new parts plight stove back in turned on gas and both issues look to be fixed. I did have to splice the electrical connector for probe as it was different than the original. Read more

Replacing the trim takes a little bit of alignment and light force. The trim slides over the glass panel of the door, with the glass sliding into plastic tabs. We kept the door nearly vertical (almost closed), lined up the tabs on the trim with the glass door, and used mild force to slide the trim down onto the glass door.
