This is a replacement mounting screw used to secure the defrost timer assembly to the refrigerator control housing, restoring proper fastening and preventing the timer from shifting or vibrating during operation. What it does:

• Secures the defrost timer to the control housing so the timer stays in position.
• Prevents vibration or movement that can cause intermittent contact or noisy operation.
• Helps maintain reliable defrost cycle timing by keeping the timer properly aligned.
• Addresses symptoms such as a loose or missing fastener, rattling behind the control panel, or a timer that shifts when the door is opened.

• Unplug the appliance before starting work to prevent electrical shock.
• Access the control housing or timer bracket per your model's service instructions.
• Use the correct screwdriver or driver bit; do not overtighten—stop when snug to avoid stripping.
• Retain removed hardware for reference and compare screw length/threads before installing.

Ice maker not dispensing cubes or producing hollow ice? This ice maker ejector controls the ice release cycle. Moderate DIY repair for most models.

This thermal cutoff is a safety device in the refrigerator's ice maker that shuts off the heater circuit if temperatures exceed safe limits. It helps protect the ice maker assembly from overheating during the harvest cycle. Replace this part if the ice maker stops producing ice, fails to complete its cycle, or if testing confirms the thermal cutoff has tripped and no longer resets.

Defrost drain trough for side-by-side refrigerators. Channels water from the freezer evaporator to the drain tube. Replace if cracked or broken.

This is an adhesive overlay label that attaches to the control box area of a refrigerator. It displays the control settings, icons, or instructions needed to operate the temperature and feature controls. Replace this overlay if the printing has worn off, the label is peeling, or the markings are no longer legible, making it difficult to adjust settings accurately.
