The belt was off of the pulley and the idler wheel was worn out. I replaced the idler pulley and the spring and put the new belt on and the washer is working fine now. Read more
I replaced the belt and the tensioner along with the spring for it. The tensioner c clip was hard to get to. There wasn't much room for my hands. Read more
Vertical spring adjuster insert.
Watched a few of your videos and ordered the springs and a insert, and actually got the parts right. I am not a Appliance repair guy but I am retired and I am pretty handy so I thought what the heck. I watched the videos, a lot of common sense, common tools, and plenty of time. My knuckles are busted up and a little blood, but I got it done. Was actually kind of rewarding. Works like a champ. I like fixing things and I like my 15 year old Frigidaire GLWS1649AS2, so I wanted to fix it.
