This replacement transformer steps down household 120VAC, 60Hz power to the low voltage used by the appliance's electronic control. Replacing a failed transformer can restore power to the display/clock and control circuits so cooking functions respond properly. What it does:

Converts 120VAC line power to low-voltage for the control board/clock and related circuits
Helps provide stable power to the display and control relays
Helps resolve: blank or intermittent display, unresponsive controls, oven not starting, or visible heat damage to the original transformer

Replaced power transformer. I used a multimeter to measure output voltage of the transformer and discovered there was no output voltage.
