The ice crusher housing is the plastic enclosure that contains the crushing mechanism in your refrigerator's ice dispenser. It directs ice through the crusher blades and channels crushed or cubed ice toward the dispenser chute. Replace this part if your dispenser is leaking ice internally, producing unevenly crushed ice, or if the housing itself is cracked or broken.

Removed the back cover to access the fan area. Clean the area with brush and vac first. Unplugged the Refrigerator. Used a socket set with 1/4" socket. Had an extended and a standard socket. Removed the condensate plastic drain from the bottom of the refrigerator to have more access to the fan. Unplugged the fan motor. Removed the two screws holding the fan in place.
