This replacement part is a snack pan slide rail, and it is intended for use in different types of appliances. This is a genuine replacement part made by General Electric. This part is able to hold up other trays and racks in the refrigerator and freezer so that extra shelf space can be utilized. These slide rails can also hold up trays that can support heavy bottles and drinks. A new snack pan slide rail might be needed if the current ones have become stripped and are unable to latch onto the shelving to support it. It is common that these parts can become brittle over time as exposure to low temperature wears down the plastic. Be sure the shelving of the appliance is clear before attempting to replace the slide rail. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This replacement part is compatible with different types of appliances made by General Electric.

Replaced motor and solenoid cube along with dispenser auger. Simply watched video on repair and installation and really had no problem. My refrigerator is so old that one of the holes in the motor did not align properly. Had to drill another hole to mount the motor to the housing, took ten minutes. The ice auger took the longest as I was afraid of breaking the plastic housing trying to get the tabs to release. Had to watch the video twice to make sure I got the blades back in the right order.... Read more

1) By using google to find videos on why the door wouldn't close, I found out I needed new cams, those same videos also showed how to remove and replace the door. 2) Then by googling the fridge model number and the word 'cam', I was able to find the parts. 3) Taking the door off was simple, I needed a phillips head screwdriver to remove the hinge cover, however the screws in the hinge plate were so tight, I needed a side handle socket wrench to loosen them. 4) The door itself is not hard to... The recessed grille covers the condenser coils and provides ventilation at the bottom front of the refrigerator. Replace if the grille is cracked, missing, or damaged, which can affect airflow and cooling efficiency.

Swapped it out for new tube. Take 5 minutes and zero effort. The drain tube will clog with mold. You can clean it out but the tube will clog again despite's you best efforts as the tube wall provide a great habitat. Ordered new tubes to facilitate swap-outs. Old tubes can be cleaned but will recolonize quickly. Read more
