This ice dispenser funnel guides cubes or crushed ice from the door chute into your glass. Replacing a cracked or missing funnel restores clean, targeted dispensing and helps reduce stray ice around the dispenser area.
The hinge broke on the ice dispenser funnel and housing. I took them off and replace them, putting the old switches and bulb in the new housing. It took some time to put the return spring back because it does not appear in the assembly diagram. Once working, it secures to the door with 4 screws, and worked as it should. I found several other parts that needed to be replaced as well. Once All the parts were received, I again watched the video. The video was not specific enough to show how to reassemble the ice crusher blades and the two types of washers. Evaporator fan motor in our freezer was bad. Ordered new one with 2 day delivery and had it in 2 days. Thankfully it was very easy to get to from the front of the freezer.
