Found the fix description online - purchased the Door Latch Bracket. I did need to remove the Microwave from the cabinet it was built into. Required removing the screws at the four corners of the trim piece surrounding the microwave. Then removed the oven with the frame bracket attached - removed the bracket, then needed a star shaped secure screwdriver to remove the microwave skin around the sides and top (remove the secure screws from the back and slide the skin toward the back and off). ... Received a replacement bulb, removed the outer cover and replaced the defective bulb with the new one. Used the special security Torx bit to remove the back screws. Had purchased a set some time ago and only use them occasionally, but always glad they are on hand when needed. Replaced outer cover and light works fine. I ordered a replacement door latch. It was simple to snap off the plastic trim bezel on the inside of the door, then raise the existing latch and unhook it from its guide. (Lift and pull sideways until it snaps out of its track.) Read more
