First I ordered a new ice door seal, spring, and crank, figuring the condensation in freezer and door was caused by ice door not sealing. Turns out the solenoid for the ice door was completely rusted and was the primary cause, if it had been replaced early, it would have saved the dispenser board. What then happened was the moisture in the freezer door damaged the control board rendering dispenser controls inoperative as well as the heater around the dispenser. I first changed the main control board and de-iced the evaporator coils. It helped on some of the issues but the evaporator iced up in a few weeks again, so I retrofitted a timer and relay device to keep the evaporator coil clear of ice build up. That controlled that problem but the noisy fan and frost build up in the freezer compartment itself continued, so then I put in a new evaporator fan assembly and that has cleared up the rest of the issues.
