First I ordered a new ice door seal, spring, and crank, figuring the condensation in freezer and door was caused by ice door not sealing. Turns out the solenoid for the ice door was completely rusted and was the primary cause, if it had been replaced early, it would have saved the dispenser board. What then happened was the moisture in the freezer door damaged the control board rendering dispenser controls inoperative as well as the heater around the dispenser. Replaced the PTCR & Overload components that push onto the compressor, & clicking stopped and refrigerator started working again. Its been 5 days since the repair and everything is working great. Its a 10 to 15 minute repair job. If you add blowing out the coils or vacuuming them at 5 minutes. Just 4 nuts off the back panel cover, and a screwdriver to pop off cover over the components and then gently pry or pull off all parts, push new parts on, replace cover and back panel. Read more
