This apron kit is used to convert the older 3 piece support apron to the new one piece apron. Kit includes: one piece rod support apron, spring clips, nut and bracket assembly, conduit, wire ties and instruction sheet.
Installed GE # WH49X20925 Rod Support Sub-Frame, a factory specified upgrade. As a Design Engineer I would categorize this "fix" as an "Engineering Correction" a.k.a. a classic designer "screw-up". The Appliance Chassis was collapsing and required significant straightening before we could even begin the new perimeter frame install. Shame on GE! Otherwise a fine Family Unit being well abused. The Wire Tie is an OEM part for GE dryers. It is used to secure and organize internal wiring, ensuring that wires remain properly positioned and do not interfere with the operation of the dryer. This part plays an important role in preventing wires from becoming tangled, pinched, or damaged during the dryer’s cycles.
Over time, the wire tie can become worn out, broken, or damaged due to prolonged exposure to heat, vibrations, or wear from normal use. A compromised wire tie can lead to loose or unsecured wiring, which may impact the performance of the dryer or cause electrical issues.
Symptoms of a bad Dryer Wire Tie include:
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

This harness plug connects the dishwasher's wiring to the water inlet valve. Replacing a burnt, brittle, or loose connector restores a solid electrical connection so the valve energizes correctly and the tub fills when the cycle begins.
Dishwasher had begun going through the cycles with not enough water in the chamber. Suspect was the water inlet valve. Checked the AppliancePartsPros video for this repair and ordered the valve from them. It arrived in a timely manner -as usual- and I pulled the dishwasher out, removed the kick toe cover, then the structural brace behind it then removed the valve. Installed the new valve, replaced the bracket and the toe cover and dish washer is back in service like brand new. Wife was ready to... Read more

This power line filter sits between household AC and the washer's internal wiring to reduce electrical interference and help stabilize control operation. Replacing a failed filter may restore power and prevent nuisance breaker or GFCI trips.
Replaced power line filter. Hardest part was to find out the filter was at fault. Diagnosis was trial and error effort. Once identified, the fix was easy, just reassemble. Read more

It's always a tough decision on how much time and money to spend on an older $500 appliance. Besides fixing things being in my nature, Appliance Parts policy of allowing returns for any reason made the decision a lot easier. My 2+hour project time was due to lots of research and analyses trying to pin-point the exact cause. It still came down to a toss up between the control card and the motor. The control card did not fix, the motor did. Part replacement was in the 15 - 30 minute range. A... Read more

Replaced the Coupling Pulsator, and the Pulsator (short spindle in the center of the washer). The only problem that I encountered was how to remove the short spindle in the center of the washer...my fabric softer is in the center and you need to open that, grab the middle and loosen by turning left. Once that is out you will use a 7/16th socket and remove the entire agitator. Most of the videos show that you pull that straight up to remove - not the short one. There is still a screw to remove.... Read more
