This is the lower spray arm assembly that sits at the bottom of the dishwasher tub and rotates during the wash cycle to spray water onto dishes. It distributes pressurized water through small nozzle holes to clean the items on the lower rack. Replace this arm if dishes on the bottom rack are not getting clean, if the spray holes are clogged or damaged, or if the arm is cracked and no longer spins freely.
