The Door-Outer is an OEM part for Bosch wall ovens and ranges. It forms the exterior protective cladding around the oven doorway. As a high-heat tolerant material, the door-outer shields internal insulation and wiring from accidental spills, splatters, and heat exposure during cooking.
Causes of a bad door-outer can include warping, cracking or discoloration from prolonged heat. Spills that seep behind can degrade the insulation. Physical damage from impact in a busy kitchen is also possible.
