This oven hi-limit thermostat kit is a safety device that prevents the oven from overheating by shutting off power when temperatures exceed safe limits. It monitors internal temperature and cuts power to heating elements when necessary. Replace this kit when your oven overheats, won't maintain temperature, or the safety system isn't functioning properly.
M4.2 x 9.5mm mounting screw for wall ovens. Secures interior panels, brackets, and components. Replace if stripped, missing, or damaged during repairs.
Removed 4 screws from back panel and removed back panel. Removed 3 screws and 3 wires from heater element and removed element. Reversed procedure with new element and seal. You will need the seal! Old one crumbled apart. All took less than 10 minutes. Read more
