Fix an oven that won't reach set temperature or shows inaccurate readings. This temperature sensor monitors heat levels for proper cooking performance.
Guessed it must be either a heat sensor or a lower element. Bosch wall oven with no easy access to the back of the stove. Had to remove the door (very Heavy) to more easily access the temperature sensor. I thought from a video that the sensor could be easily replaced without having to access the red of the stove - not true! The sensor wire was secured to other wires and a clip screwed into the sheet metal. I was able to remove all screws with a Torx head driver. Since I had to pull the unit out... Read more

Fixes ovens that won't start, overheat beyond set temperature, or display errors. This main control board coordinates all oven functions and timing cycles.
Oven not heating or baking unevenly? This bake element heats the oven cavity from the bottom. Moderately difficult repair requiring rear access.
Replaced the lower Heating Element and the Temperature Sensor. The Sensor was easy to replace but the element was pretty difficult due to the amount of insulation covering the element. It was also difficult to access the element. I had to pull out the oven from the wall, remove the back plate, bend out some of the metal plates holding it in, remove the old element which was corroded and broken into several pieces and welded to the support, then try and shove in the new one without displacing... Our Bosch 300 series built in convection oven, which was 18 months old, failed to properly regulate temperature. It either got super hot, in one instance actually igniting a peach cobbler, or after a half hour the oven had only risen a few degrees. Called two local repair companies. One charged $65 for a service call plus $120 an hour. The other charged $90 for a service call plus $125 an hour. Went with the cheaper. Probably a mistake. The tech came out and asked if there had been any... Read more
