The dishwasher would not drain sometimes Thomas W. • Oceanside , CA • October 02, 2016
I replaced the pump drain assembly. The flapper valve was included in the assembly, so I did not need to order that. On previous repairs, the old drain hose was tricky to reinstall, so I replaced it and the hose clamp. The silverware basket had holes in the bottom and required replacement. I had some broken tine clips.

At first I planned to just buy a new dishwasher, this one wasn't working THAT well, and it didn't seem like it would be worth the effort to fix it. I looked at the cost of a new dishwasher and decided to give fixing it a go. I got on Appliancepartspros, found the part I needed, watched the video that showed exactly how to take the old part out and put the...

It arrived in a timely manner -as usual- and I pulled the dishwasher out, removed the kick toe cover, then the structural brace behind it then removed the valve. Installed the new valve, replaced the bracket and the toe cover and dish washer is back in service like brand new.
