Determined from the schematic on the inside of the cover of the icemaker that the likely problem was the "stop" micro switch.... Took the whole thing apart and confirmed the switch was defective. Replaced it with a standard DPDT switch - for a temporary fix. Went on line to find replacement. Bought it from APP Parts Pros. replaced DPDT switch with micro.. all is well.... saved at least $150 by not having a repair person come to the house - felling good about this..... Read more

The air conditioner screw is a fastening component used throughout the unit to secure panels, components, or mounting brackets. Replace it if screws are stripped, corroded, missing, or if they no longer hold components securely in place.
I replaced all the parts on the back of the refrigerator (tube from valve, water fill assembly, and tube clamp). There is a secondary water fill tube inside the freezer which comes loose when you take the fill assembly off. It fell into the cabinet and I had to remove the ice maker to ensure I got it back on correctly, took an extra five or less minutes. Read more
