In 20-year-old GE Electric Range Model Model JBP78BY1BB, I replaced the electric control panel for oven. Original GE Part was WB27T10102. Appliance Parts Pro (APP) provided excellent help and directed me to the closest replacement, which was GE Part No. WB27X10311 with APP part no. AP263445. APP's postings of the comments of several other customers who had experienced the same failure (broiler burner will not shut off) were very helpful. The replacement part proved to be a correct... This retainer secures the oven door hinges in place and is located at the bottom corners of the oven door frame. Replace if the oven door sags, won't stay closed properly, or if the hinges appear loose or misaligned.

Had a little trouble getting the correct part number, but with the help of Appliance Parts Pros very knowledgeable customer service. The correct part was ordered. Removed two screws to access inside panel of door. These screws also secure the door handle. Removed an additional 4 screws to completely remove the old handle. Assembled the new door handle consisting of three pieces. Attached the door handle to the outside of the door with the four screws. My oven door had alignment holes for the... Read more
