This mold heater assembly warms the ice maker mold to help release ice and prevent ice buildup for consistent ice production. It replaces a faulty heater that can cause stuck cubes or irregular harvesting. What it does:

• Gently warms the ice mold so ice cubes release cleanly from the tray
• Helps prevent ice from sticking or freezing unevenly to the mold
• Supports regular ice harvesting cycles when heater has failed or is intermittent
• Works as the heater component inside the ice maker housing

• One mold heater assembly

• Disconnect power to the appliance before attempting any service
• Accessible from the ice maker module area; some models require removing the ice bin or access panel
• Handle the heater and surrounding components carefully to avoid damage to the ice maker

This thermistor is the refrigerator temperature sensor that monitors internal air temperature and helps the control board regulate cooling for safe food storage. It replaces a failed sensor to restore accurate temperature readings and normal cycling. What it does:

• Senses refrigerator/freezer air temperature so the control board can adjust compressor and fan operation
• Can cause improper cooling or erratic cycling when faulty (too warm, too cold, or constant running)
• Helps the appliance respond correctly to user temperature settings and defrost cycles
• Works as part of the temperature control system; not a standalone control module

• Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any service to avoid shock or injury.
• Handle the sensor tip and wiring gently; avoid kinking or damaging the harness.
• Verify correct connector alignment and secure fit to the harness; test operation after installation.
