Unplug the dishwasher from all power and water sources. Slide the appliance out from the wall or counter. Locate the screws on the outer perimeter of the dishwasher. These screws remove the main faceplate and trim. Open the dishwasher door and remove the screws directly behind the touchpad and control panel assembly. There are fastening clips that hold the old control assembly in place. Push these clips in, and the old control panel assembly will come off.
