I replaced the stirrer fan cover and fan, which had some carbon and slight burn marks on it. It was difficult to remove the fan cover as it did not rotate. I had to pry it off with a flat blade screwdriver, breaking the plastic tabs on the cover (which was being discarded anyway). I then cleaned any visible carbon deposits and replaced the cover and fan, using the old stirrer fan holder as it appeared OK. Simply removed the defective touchpad and replaced it with the new one I purchased from Appliance Parts Pro. The microwave display gave an error code that indicated the touchpad failure. Read more
