I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more

Searched parts diagram found that the grill was no longer available. I then crosschecked parts list of other brands. Found that the Maytag company sold the same unit and they had the part under their brand. The color of the grill was different than the one Jenn-Air cooktop sold with the unit when it was new. But I feel it looks better and the fit was identical. Read more
