I used the parts ordered, minus the screw because it was not the right one, and replaced the burner. I just took the old parts off and put the new parts on. Super easy fix! Read more
The screws ordered were the wrong type (I removed machine threads, the replacements were self threading) Not a problem.The screws fixing the burners to the top plate were badly rusted and the heads had to be drilled off. The remaining part of the screws had to be drilled out which meant that the self threading screws could then be used. Changing the valve was straight forward. I called them to be sure that I had the correct burner valve, and it's a good thing I did because the correct one was slightly different than what was listed on the website. They shipped it VERY quickly and it was an easy 5 minute job after that. The service was wonderful!
