This plunger switch is the push-style electrical switch that completes a circuit when an actuator is depressed, restoring reliable on/off signaling. Use it to replace a worn or broken plunger switch that causes intermittent or non-responsive operation. What it does:
I pulled the switch out of the oven console and wiggled it until it started working. That only worked for a few days. I ordered the new switch from AppliancePartsPros on Monday. In the mean time, I pulled the switch off and held the wiring harness in place with duct tape. This turned off the light.
