I replaced the control panel assembly. First I unplugged the range. I slid the range out so I could get to the two screws securing the panel to the range at the ends. I did this by removing the bottom warming drawer and pulling the bottom cross member. I then removed the 4 screws under the burner knobs, and the 4 hex-head screws under the panel. I felt pretty confident taking the stove apart although I'm not too good with electrical stuff. I was hoping this project was going to be a "plug and play. And it was, but.....there were several different components that could be causing the problem. So I reached out to the good ole "Interweb"!
