Replace a cracked, broken, or missing surface burner control knob on your range. Attaches to the valve stem to adjust heat levels and restore a clean look.
Ordered four new knobs. Because of the stove model, the four knobs are three different parts. Three of the knobs fit and work fine. The fourth knob had the information printed on it, off by 180 degrees (in positioning, not temp). Hence, if the knob fit correctly, it pointed to the floor when in the off position. Yet, when turned to the off position-toward the ceiling, the flame was pretty high. The other three point to the ceiling. No flame. New knob being sent. Holding my breath. Read more

I had to remove the oven door, which I learned is made to come off without tools. Then took out the bottom by removing two screws and lifting. Removed the screws attaching the igniter, pulled wires thru back until I could get the connector and disconnect. When the new igniter arrived, I had to change the connector. I am a plumber by trade so I was guessing my way through this. It took me a while to figure out that I had to drill out the screws that held the burners in place. The screws were so rusted that I couldn't tell that they were philips. Then I found that I needed to pull the stove out about 5" and put 2x4s under the feet so I could get the screws that hold the top down. I ruined the orfice holders trying to drill out the old screws.
