Replaced the control valve with a stock part from Appliance Parts Pro. It was quick and easy! No more gas leaks and my wife now trusts me to fix more things and work on home project. I found AppliancePartsPros online and they had exact replacements of the burner caps. The website easily listed the part numbers that the caps replaced (since Kennmore no longer had them). Removed grates and screws holding burner bowls and then removed glass top and knobs. Removed front panel and removed and replaced switch, reassembled. Read more
