If your oven won't power on or loses electrical connection, the terminal block receptacle may be damaged. This socket connects power supply wires safely.
Tested the power to the unit by turning on the cooktop portion and saw that I had power to all of the burners. Turned the selector knob to broil and saw that the top element would heat up. I then turned off the breaker to the unit. I then decided to take out the baking element to do a continuity test. When I touched it, a 1.5 inch section fell out. Removed oven door, slid entire oven out of cabinet about 4 inches, removed 2 screws attaching hinge, replaced hinge. Very straight forward. Read more
The fan was straightforward unscrew and disconnect wires then reinstall. The gaskets required the door to be disassembled contrary to the video that was provided when purchasing the gasket for the door. Disassembly was not hard just take a lot of pictures so you get everything back into the correct place. Also, a good time to clean door frame and wash the glass. Read more
Took out the old element and put the new one in. Took about 20 minutes. The hardest part was finding the connectors that had slipped into the insulation. Read more
