The oven was so loud, it was hard to talk to someone in the kitchen. We replaced the motor and the fan blade. 1. Turn off power to the oven. 2. Remove the oven doors 3. Remove the cover for the fan. 4. Turn the fan blade nut clockwise to loosen( it's opposite of normal) - Save the nut and the small clip that is behind the fan as you'll need them again. 5. Took out the old element and put the new one in. Took about 20 minutes. The hardest part was finding the connectors that had slipped into the insulation. Read more
Via chat, you recommended the correct replacement element and connectors for higher temperatures. The bag had 20 connectors, so I could practice crimping. Removing the oven door helped access the screws. The fan cover needed to be removed to expose the screws that retained the heating element. Once the screws were removed, pulled the heating element out and disconnected the spade connectors. Cut and placed new connector on the burned wire. Crimped with my stripper tool. Connected the... This electrical connector receives the meat probe thermometer and connects it to the oven's temperature monitoring system. Located inside the oven cavity, usually on the side wall, it needs replacement when the probe doesn't register temperature readings or shows error messages.
Right-side door hinge for ovens. Mounts between the door frame and oven body to support door opening and closing. Replace if cracked, bent, or worn.
Left-side door hinge for ovens and ranges. Replaces broken, cracked, or worn hinges that prevent proper door alignment and smooth operation.
