The left door hinge is the mechanical pivot bracket mounted on the left side of the appliance that allows the door to swing open and closed smoothly. It supports the weight of the door and keeps it properly aligned with the frame. Replace this hinge when the door sags, scrapes against the frame, won't close evenly, or has visible cracks or bent metal.

The oven was so loud, it was hard to talk to someone in the kitchen. We replaced the motor and the fan blade. 1. Turn off power to the oven. 2. Remove the oven doors 3. Remove the cover for the fan. 4. Turn the fan blade nut clockwise to loosen( it's opposite of normal) - Save the nut and the small clip that is behind the fan as you'll need them again. 5. All of the information on the web repair sites said "replace the hinges as the springs are worn out." Didn't fix the problem. The top of the door still wouldn't seal, and the. Leaning latch wouldn't catch the door unless you pressed on the door. The inside panel of the door was fatigued. Too many turkeys were set on the door over the years.
