We (2) covered our 36" white frig in peel & stick stainless. Two challenges: the (fake) "stainless" was 3/16" shorter than 36". I expected, correctly, the material should wrap around the doors until the edges were under the gasket. You find out, when it is heated with a hairdryer, it can shrink or if pushed, it can stretch that disparately needed 3/16". Putting the gasket back and successfully getting the edge of the material under gasket edge is a challenge. Appliance Pros picked out the... Read more

A friends family had left her refrigerator out on a porch while they were remodeling the house she was supposed to move into. A wind storm blew the refrigerator off the porch and tore the door off. Freezer running too warm or too cold? This thermistor cover shields the temperature sensor for accurate cooling. Simple snap-in installation fixes misreads.
Initially purchased an evap fan motor, as it was listed as the most common failed component. Of course, once I pulled the cover out of the freezer, the fan motor was just fine, but the coils were a block of ice. So far, it looks like the thermostat was the source of the issue. For anyone experiencing the warm fridge, cold freezer, I recommend pulling the cover off and taking a look before ordering any parts. The video was spot on for the Amana ABB2522FEW fridge and made the repair a piece of... Read more

Replaced door latch and switch. Parts are plastic so you must know what you are doing to avoid breaking new parts. Videos were hard to find for my model - eventually I found a video that addressed a different problem but required disassembly of a washer cabinet similar to mine. I removed the control panel using a putty knife and unplugged the wire to the latch switch. Then I remove 3 screws securing the washer's top panel to the back panel. Using a rubber mallet, I gently knocked the top panel... Read more
