Original cable and routing was not engineered properly. Cable was on back order for over a month from KitchenAid factory. Daily use kinked and wore out the wires inside the cable. KitchenAid changed the cable routing and doubled the length of the cable. Instructions were limited and not very clear. The biggest problem was figuring out how to release the drawer slides. Causes
I was told the two most common part failures were the start relay and the thermostat. Ordered them both plus a new start capacitor. Relay/Capacitor was an easy 5-minute fix!
