KitchenAid changed the cable routing and doubled the length of the cable. Instructions were limited and not very clear. The biggest problem was figuring out how to release the drawer slides. I ordered a new heating element and two other parts that attached to the heating element. I discovered a wire that broke off which caused the element not to work so I had to put a new female splicer on the broken wire then replaced the element and reattached the wires and everything worked.
