Soap dispenser won't open? Replace the bi-metal thermal actuator that releases the detergent door. Takes about 15 minutes with basic tools.
Removed 4 screws holding front panel of dishwasher door. Identified defective part. Placed online order from APP.com. Part arrived 2 days later. Removed 2 screws to release part. Removed 2 wires from spade connectors and reattached to new part. Screwed in place. Replaced front panel. Done! And couldn't have been simpler! Read more

Ordered new inlet water valve and float switch kit. After repairs it now works fine. However the water inlet valve outlet end for fill hose (not water source) and wire connections (supposedly for this unit) were oriented 180 degrees opposite. I had to gently remove the blue plastic valve off the metal support bracket and turn it around and press back in place. Fortunately it appears it was designed for either orientation.
