Whirlpool W10207863 Switch OEM Part

Ordered new inlet water valve and float switch kit. After repairs it now works fine. However the water inlet valve outlet end for fill hose (not water source) and wire connections (supposedly for this unit) were oriented 180 degrees opposite. I had to gently remove the blue plastic valve off the metal support bracket and turn it around and press back in place. Fortunately it appears it was designed for either orientation. Also the solenoid had to be unclipped and also rotated. Again it was designed to have either orientation. Many DIY'ers may have returned the part not knowing what to do. I had the benefit of being an engineering officer on merchants ships and figured out I could modify the valve. My 5-star rating is a self-pat on the back for making it work.
