This door glass seal replaces the soft gasket that fits around the inner oven door glass to help keep heat and smoke inside the oven cavity for safer, more efficient cooking. It restores a better seal and reduces heat loss around the door. What it does:

Although it took longer than expected (about two hours) it was not difficult. disassembled the door and replaced the glass. reassembling the door was a little tricky, next time would take half the time. Bottom line is that it is fixed. Read more

The first thing I did was call appliance pros. The tec told me it was a good chance it was the thermostat. He told how to test it with my ohm meter and what range it should be in. I pulled it out and tested it, which was out of the limits he told me it should be in. So I ordered the part. When it arrived in two days, I installed it. The oven now works perfect. In addition to blown fuse; the fuse holder was melted at one end. Checked the unit to see if any part or wiring that would cause the issue, none was visible. Referred to wiring diagram included inside to identify components, including interlocks. All seemed functional. Bought replacement 20A fuse. Fuse holder no longer available so bought similar unit with 25A rating - little retrofitting. Put unit back together, and it's working so far. Wife is happy. Read more

Ordered switch interlock, after reading a question you responded to from a customer whose oven had the same symptoms as I did - clicking and not being able to lock. I love your website and all the help you provide. So far I fixed washer, dishwasher and now range. I cleaned my oven last night!!
