This wiring harness connects the spark switch to the ignition system for gas oven burners. Located within the oven cavity and control area, it carries electrical signals to create sparks for ignition. Replace when the oven won't light, sparks are weak or absent, or you smell gas without ignition.
Unplug the power cord and shut the gas to the stove. First remove the knobs then remove the 2 screws on either side of the stove. Open the oven door and remove 3 screws on the underside. You can now lift up the glass touch pad, then disconnect the wiring harness. Now lift up to remove the 2 connected igniter switches to expose the burner valves.
