This flat washer provides a durable spacer and load-bearing surface for a fastener, helping secure components and distribute pressure to prevent damage. It's a simple hardware replacement that restores proper fastening in appliance assemblies. What it does:

What's included: One flat washer as shown Install notes:
  • Unplug the appliance or disconnect power before starting any repair
  • Use the original-size washer or the exact replacement to ensure proper fit and function
  • Inspect mating fastener and threaded hole for wear or damage; replace if needed

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Microwave cut out while cooking all power lost including otr light and fan   Matthew J. • Bethel , CT • December 28, 2017

Let me first say that I did not intend to fix this microwave due to the age, however there are literally zero new microwaves that are small enough (height and depth) to fit. After uninstalling microwave I tried simply replacing the fuse hoping that it just got tired after 21 years of service. Upon testing the fuse blew about 2 seconds after pressing start. Due to another review on appliancepartspros.com I suspected the HV capacitor. I was able to confirm this through testing with a... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Did not turn on   Allen G. • Santa Ana , CA • October 29, 2014

Replaced a bad thermostat. The factory thermostat had a bad internal connection (one contact was loose) and that caused the insulation to melt with the eventual failure of the thermostat. I ordered the exact replacement part from "AppliancePartsPros.com" and quickly saved the cost of a new built in Microwave oven. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Clock display would beep and lock up panel it set   Steve P. • Edina , MN • November 24, 2014

Replaced Pani-Cntl and clock/microwave have continued to work for 4 days. Am waiting a few weeks, because sometimes in the past it would work fine for a month and then beep and lock up. If that happens I'll go back to the old Pani-Cntl and replace the microcomputer board. If someone knew the best way to do it putting it back together again it would of been much faster and it could be done in less than 30 minutes. Read more
