This spring-style roll pin secures mating parts on a shaft or linkage. It keeps components tightly aligned so gears, levers, or hubs stay in place during operation, helping prevent looseness, slipping, and noise.
- Expands inside aligned holes to lock components together on a shaft or hub
- Helps maintain alignment and transmit torque in rotating or linkage assemblies
- Common failure signs: wobble, rattling, parts shifting out of place, or intermittent operation
- Replace if the original pin is bent, cracked, sheared, missing, or no longer holds a tight fit
What's included: Spring/roll pin only Installation notes:
- Disconnect power and work on a stable surface with the appliance cool
- Support the assembly; use a correctly sized roll-pin punch and light hammer taps to drive the old pin out
- Align holes carefully and press/tap the new pin in flush; do not enlarge the hole
- Wear eye protection and avoid striking cast or plastic parts directly
