Removed dishwasher to replace spray arm pine--I replaced washer on pipe, too, and would recommend doing this just on principal. Removing dishwasher requires disconnecting power, water, and drain line--tools will vary depending on connections. i replaced drain line because original install was not done correctly--hose too short--You could probably do just this w/o pulling unit. I ordered a "Thermal Fuse" for a Whirlpool dishwasher. The part didn't fit in the old slot, nor did the tabs fit perfectly in the electrical connections, but it was the best I could find. I suppose the machine is too old to have current repair parts. But, it made the dishwasher work. The fuse is now hanging outside the control panel cover, connected, and working just fine. Read more
