I had no hope of separating the panel from the frame without damaging the frame since the two parts were rusted pretty badly and the screws holding the panel to the frame were completely beyond salvage. So I had to replace both the panel and the frame. I ended up removing the electrical/electronic connections, removing the panel/frame from the hinge and then replacing it with the new parts. Ordered the parts from AppliancePartsPros - super fast shipping, and even though I opted for regular shipping all of my parts arrived the very next day, including the big and bulky inner basket. Replaced seal around tub which matches up to the door. Note: Once you receive the replacement seal/gasket you will be able to see how the gasket is attached to the tub. I used a firm flat blade scraping putty knife to depress the clips....once you receive the gasket you'll understand what I'm referring to. Read more
This is a dishrack only it no longer includes the rollers and or axles. Color: light gray. Measures about 21 inches wide by 4 inches high by 22 inches deep. For axles order 4162321, for rollers order WP4162322, order 8 of each for complete set.
I ordered a new rack. I carefully detached the old wheels, hubs and splash guards. I cracked one hub but it reinstalled ok. I cleaned the old parts and installed them on the new rack. Presto, chango new complete rack! Read more
Electronic control assembly.
The part arrived earlier than stated. I rounded up the tools I needed - had to buy a star screwdriver to remove the panel. I watched a youtube tutorial on line before hand - very helpful. I followed the instructions step by step and had no problem removing and replacing the part. I am a 60 year old woman and I only mention that because normally I would have just called a repairman but I thought what the heck - I'll give it a try. this was very easy to do and saved me a repairman's charge. watch... I replaced the spray arm seal and center manifold. The old seal looked slightly worn and the old manifold mating/spinning surface was thinned out. Read more
After noticing that the dishwasher was leaking , I noticed that the hose was split on the knit line. Replaced that with an automotive hose and on further investigation I noticed that a gasket was leaking also. Easy to replace and repair. Also used some dielectric grease. Reassembled and no leakes. Total repair was about $20.00 total. Read more
