After paying approx. $60 for a service tech to diagnose the problem during which time I watched the process, I noted how simple it would be to swap out the old part of a new one. Also I noted that the receipt included the part number of the Control Panel the dishwasher required. Given that, I went online, easily found the part with your site having the best price. Tech document behind kick plate gave the test procedure that indicated that the keypad had shorted out. Replaced the control panel that has the key pad incorporated into it. Read more

Per the instruction panel the problem was most likely the control panel. I took a gamble and ordered a new one. Very easy to install if you're somewhat mechanically inclined. There are several YouTube videos out there as well to assist you in the removal and new install. Took approximately 5-10 minutes to replace depending on your skill level.
