I nearly shelled out for a new Kitchenaid when I remembered APP and entered my model # just for fun. The interactive diagrams and install videos showed where all the parts "should" be, mine were badly disintegrated, so I replaced the damaged ones and swapped out all of the other easily accessible seals and bearings (also gave it a good and very disturbing cleaning). I replaced the fuse and that fixed the issue. However, the door handle broke when removing the front panel. I ordered replacement parts that worked perfectly. I would be remiss if I didn't give the APP's customer service a shout-out. I never got the parts that FedEx said they delivered. I called customer service and they sent out a replacement order for the one I never received at no additional cost. Thank you APP! Read more

1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive.
