This genuine OEM part is an outer tub for washers. The outer tub is the main tub where clothes are set to wash. If the tub is no longer spinning properly or is making a loud noise as it rubs against the washer, it will need to be replaced. Thankfully, replacing this part is a relatively simple process. To replace the outer tub, start by making sure the washer is unplugged. After that, remove the front panel of the washer. Once removed, lift up the top panel so that it is no longer covering the outer tub. Next, locate the mounting bolts that secure the tub and unthread them using a socket wrench. Once removed, lift the tub out from the washer. Replace with the new tub and secure the mounting bolts. Reinstall the front panel and plug the washer back in. This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Whirlpools, Maytag, Kitchenaid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Sears/Kenmore brand washers.
This is a carburetor bowl. It holds the gas that is mixed with air before it enters the engine. The carburetor bowl contains a float which regulates the amount of gas needed to mix and fuel the engine. There are times when the carburetor in of itself is considered in good working order but the bowl may be compromised. This can happen if the bowl has been corroded. Rust will damage the carburetor bowl and render it ineffective. When replacing the carburetor bowl, be sure to work in a well-ventilated area and to wear the proper gear when handling engine parts. Once the carburetor is free from the engine, unscrew the bowl from the unit over a catch pan. Any contents will fall into the pan. Disassemble the old bowl's hardware and use it when installing the new bowl. This is a genuine OEM part manufactured by Tecumseh. It is compatible for Toro, Cub Cadet, and MTD engines.
