This brake release cam works with the washer's brake assembly to disengage the brake during spin and re-engage it at stop. Replacing a worn cam restores smooth basket spin and reduces squeal or grinding at spin transitions.

• Keep small parts away from children and follow appliance safety guidelines; replace mating hardware if the shaft or hole is damaged.

This protective cover for the washer's lid switch area guards the switch and wiring from water, detergent, and snagging inside the top panel, supporting reliable lid-closed detection and long-term safety interlock performance.

• Shields the lid switch and wiring from splashes, detergent, and debris under the top panel
• Helps prevent snagging or accidental contact with the switch mechanism
• Supports consistent lid-closed sensing by keeping the switch area protected and in position
• If the shield is damaged or missing, you may notice exposed switch/wiring or intermittent starting/spinning that improves when the lid is pressed

• Disconnect power before servicing; turn off water if moving the appliance

• Install the shield in the original orientation and secure with the existing fasteners
• After reassembly, verify the lid closes properly and the washer starts/spins as expected
