The hinged top cover of the washing machine that provides access to the wash basket. Replace when it won't stay closed, has cracks, or the safety switch mechanism is damaged preventing the washer from operating.

This central shaft connects the motor to the washer transmission and includes a securing collar for proper alignment. Located at the bottom of the wash basket, it transfers power for agitation and spin cycles. Replace when the washer won't agitate, makes grinding noises, or the basket won't spin properly.
