This suspension spring supports your washer's tub and absorbs vibrations during spin cycles to reduce noise and movement. It connects the wash tub to the cabinet frame and helps maintain proper tub alignment during operation. Replace these springs if your washer vibrates excessively, makes loud banging noises, or if you notice the tub touching the cabinet walls.
