This is a felt seal that fits around the drum of a dryer, providing a soft barrier between the rotating drum and the stationary cabinet. Removed motor/pump to gain access to hose. Hose could be replaced with out removal of motor but I wanted to install new hose with out any excessive bending and twisting. Found original hose to be to small for hole in tub - not a tight fit. Ordered replacement hose (actual Frigidaire replacement) it fit very snug. The washer agitator stud cap is a small cover piece that fits on top of the central agitator post in top-loading washing machines. Replace this cap if it's cracked, missing, loose, or if fabric is getting caught on the exposed agitator mechanism.
