This is a plastic support piece that holds the crisper drawer cover or shelf in place inside the refrigerator. It mounts to the interior wall and provides a stable ledge for the glass or plastic panel that sits above the crisper drawers. Replace this support if it is cracked, broken, or missing, causing the cover to sit unevenly or fall into the crisper area.
