Easy-peasy. Took all of 10 minutes start to finish- most of that spent clearing glass chips from frame. I usually let repairmen do this kinda thing, but I couldn't justify the markup for the part, nor the 4 hr labor estimate. Saved myself about $600 and it really was super easy. This is a surface burner valve for a gas range that controls the flow of gas to an individual cooktop burner. It connects to the burner knob and regulates gas output to adjust flame height. Replace this valve if a burner won't light, the flame cannot be adjusted, or you notice gas leaking near the control knob area.
Order the correct parts from appliance pros break down diagram they listed and presto, ordered the parts that was easy on the same page. The valves came in but both looked the same.
