Supports smooth drawer movement in your range's storage compartment. Replace when drawer becomes crooked, slides too far, or glide shows wear grooves.
The bottom drawer glides tend to wear. The metal drawer sliding against the plastic glide creates a groove. After only a couple years, the groove was so large that the drawer slid in too far. Replaced the regulator with part #AP5802175. Watched the video when purchasing, and it was spot on. Would have taken me about 15-20 minutes if I had access to a vise, to remove one of the fittings. Was able to get it out using two wrenches, but it was not without a bit of elbow grease. The new part went in easily. Tried to remove the igniter bracket but the screws were too tight for the Phillips head and couldn't get vice grips to clamp on the head, so I bent the bracket enough to remove and replace the igniter.
